Crossing the border at Mamonovo — Grzechotki: what to know

The Mamonovo-2 — Grzechotki crossing is in Mamonovo, about 50 km from Kaliningrad, and is open 24 hours a day.
You can cross by car or bus. You cannot cross the border with Poland on foot in the Kaliningrad region: pedestrian traffic has been closed since 15 July 2022.
The other crossing into Poland is Bagrationovsk — Bezledy, also 24 hours a day. According to public sources as of July 2026, Mamonovo — Gronowo and Gusev — Gołdap are suspended.
Waiting times at the crossings are published by the Polish Border Guard. On peak days the queue has reached 18–19 hours.
